Afterdeath is a film by Bill Sheikh of Metal Snare Production in which I starred alongside Sophie Neville (and myself!). The music was initially inspired by "The Surface of the Sun" / "Adagio in D Minor" by John Murphy (Sunshine), and also pays diligence to Murray Gold's work on Series 6 of Doctor Who. The main theme first appears during the title cards, and is heard in full in "Shot" (track two) and "Saying Goodbye" (track eight), as well as several album-only tracks including "Ali & Maria" (track three) and "No One's Ever Going to Hurt You". The "Lament for End Credits" (track nine) was one of the first pieces composed for this project, and appears on the album in its full form.
